Good Afternoon,
First of all, I would like to thank you and your colleagues
for a fantastic set up day! Thanks to your hard work and preparations,
everything went up efficiently and smoothly. Second, I would like to
recognize the amazing talents of all of our students! There were
innumerable positive comments from community members in regards to the quality of
the work done by our high school students.
As many of you know, judging took place yesterday
immediately after set up and our three judges: Amber Larsen (2D), Ed Severini
(Digital) and Tim Pfiffner (3D) couldn’t say enough great things about the
student work (and how difficult the decisions were!) Photos have been
taken and we will be assembling the awards presentation and reception program
this week. I hope to have images and a draft of the program shared
with you all by Friday.
PROGRAM INFORMATION:
In order to accurately honor all of your students, please be
sure to share your list of selections with me via this google

Once you have opened the spreadsheet, you simply need to create a copy
of the sheet and share it back to me with your information. Additionally,
note the NFS/$ column, as Sandra would like to have this information available. If you have not done so, please include (or share
separately) the information for the ARTSPACE 144 pieces as well as their

RECEPTION: April 15th, 6-8 pm, Awards
Presentation 7 pm
Please be sure to distribute the attached parent/student
letter inviting those with work in the show. I have also attached a copy
of the FVC Participation Certificate to honor general participants.
Honorable Mention and Best of Show Ribbons have been hung next to the awarded
pieces and at the 7:00 awards presentation on April 15th, we will
hand out Honorable Mention and Best of Show certificates to those students who
have received these specific recognitions.
